Dear Purposeful Humans,
Welcome to our very first newsletter.
Building our Purposefully Human (PfH) movement and community is inevitably a process of constant learning. For most, if not all of us, developing a global online community is a new, but exciting, venture. As such we will keep checking in with you and reviewing where we are. What are we getting right and where do we need to improve or adapt? We expect that, especially in these early stages, we will have to remain very agile in pursuit of our vision and in meeting member needs.
Overall, we are making good progress towards developing the PfH community, but we recognise that there are always areas we can do better. To do that we encourage you to keep sharing your honest feedback – it is very helpful and much valued. We will keep working to make it easy and rewarding for you to spend your valuable time with the community.
Purposefully Human Launch
The PfH Launch team are developing plans for our official launch early next year. We will share further details of this exciting event soon.
Our new Purposefully Human community on LinkedIn
We have recently created a new PfH site for members on LinkedIn. This will provide a place where we can grow our community and start to share content etc. We recognise it will take a while to build the resources and engagement on the site but we would encourage you to invite interested colleagues to join the LinkedIn PfH community now. It is a simple one click request and there is no cost to them. The more members we have the quicker we can increase the content and value to you.
I have found that many people have a general feeling that we need to make organisations and workplaces more human, but they do not know what that looks like or how to do it. That alone is often sufficient for them to sign up to a likeminded network, even at this early stage.
Bi-weekly drop in sessions
Commencing Monday 13th November we will be hosting a bi-weekly drop in session for one hour. These are very informal and the agenda is set by the attendees.
For new members, please come along and say hi – we would love to learn more about your interests and to answer any questions you may have about our community of Purposeful Humans.
For existing members please use this as an opportunity to catch up, discuss what is on your mind or to ask for help from community members. If you wish to attend, the access details have been posted on the LinkedIn site or can be requested by emailing david@sharedaim.co.uk
Request for content, resources or to share events info.
One of our four functions for the PfH community is to be a repository for resources. These can be original pieces of content from members or just things you have seen or heard about and want to share.
For all members a great way to get involved is to write a short article. We are developing some guidelines to help members create content but in the meantime you can always get in touch to discuss any ideas.
Purposefully Human website
A reminder that we also have a Purposefully Human website (https://purposefullyhuman.com/). We are keen to develop this to meet member’s needs. So please have a look and let us know your suggestions.
